Literary Angel Words and Music by Robert Martin Teetsov I was in the neighborhood and I couldn't resist coming to see you. I wish I could write a song to let you know how I feel about you, how you make me feel. I opened up the door and saw you there, a poet's dream finally found, after a long walk through hard times, loveless times. You're my Literary Angel oh, oh, oh. You're my Literary Angel oh, oh, oh. You're my Literary Angel oh, oh, oh. You're my Literary Angel oh, oh, oh. You're my Literary Angel oh, oh, oh. You're my Literary Angel oh, oh, oh. You were there to welcome me and you knew my name before I told you. You smiled like the moon above, you made me dream about you. Oh you make me dream. I thought of you as I crossed the Seine. I thought of this refrain to sing of your sweet blue eyes and your radiant smile. You smiled as we climbed the stairs. You looked back to see that I followed. I wish I had had the time to tell you how much I think about you, how you make me feel. I saw you listening there behind the door, your face just barely seen. I couldn't ignore your beauty there. You're a poem rare. You're my Literary Angel oh, oh, oh. You're my Literary Beauty oh, oh, oh. You're my Literary Angel oh, oh, oh. You're my Literary Beauty oh, oh, oh. You're my Literary Angel oh, oh, oh. You're my Literary Angel oh, oh, oh. I was in the neighborhood and I couldn't resist coming to see you. I wish I could write a song to let you know how I feel about you, how you make me feel. I opened up the door and saw you there, a poet's dream finally found, after a long walk through hard times, after a long walk through hard times, after a long walk through hard times, loveless times.

Heat In Your Mind Words and Music by Robert Martin Teetsov She married her best friend, she told me one day. The summer would be sweet for her, she predicted that day. So sweet it would be for her and her man. Sweet summers are not for all to have. Sweet summers belong to pretty girls. Sweet summers are not for all to have. Sweet summers belong to pretty boys and girls. Only love makes a summer sweet. Only love makes a summer sweet. Or else it's only heat in your mind, in your mind, in your mind. You've got heat in your mind, boy. You've got heat in your mind, boy. You've got heat in your mind. You've got heat in your mind, boy. It's that unbearable heat that numbs you down. And the summer sweetness can't save you from this. I lost all the dreams I had of her that day. They were all swept away in one brutal wave. Just like all the dreams I had of you.

Words Can't Explain Words and Music by Robert Martin Teetsov Help me break through to the other side. This life of mine is getting to be too much, and too little for me. Just a gentle touch from you is all I need to go on, to keep living, just one simple touch, and I'll know what you mean. 'Cause I've reached the point where I don't know what to say. I'm speechless. 'Cause words seem helpless they can't help me to explain how I feel. These days words seem as helpless as me. Words can't explain. Perhaps only my eyes can tell you how I feel about you. I can't find the words to say how I'd like to live all my days with you, how I'd like to live all my days with you. It's been a long, long time since I've seen happy days. I'm waiting, I hope to see them, those days again. Around the corner when I least expect it. Though I have my doubts, every day I believe in it, that I'll wake you up from your waking slumber, and you'll walk with me. I'm speechless. 'Cause words seem helpless. They can't help me to explain how I feel. These days words seem as helpless as me. Words can't explain. Perhaps only my eyes can tell you how I feel about you. I can't find the words to say how I'd like to live all my days with you, how I'd like to live all my days with you, how I'd like to live all my days with you.

Kelly's Waltz Words and Music by Robert Martin Teetsov You make me silly. You make me giddy. You make me dance to this sweet little ditty, by a singer named Elliot, a voice sad and delicate. Twirl, my sweet Kelly, twirl. Twirl, twirl, my sweet Kelly, twirl. Twirl, twirl, I'll take you for a whirl. In your arms tonight, you make me feel right. Twirl, my sweet Kelly, twirl. I think you're pretty. I think you're witty. I think you come from a far, golden city, where the gold's not of metal, but of soft flower petals. Dance, my sweet Kelly, dance. Let's dance, dance, my sweet Kelly, dance. Dance, dance, as we did in France. Love the joy in you. You make me feel new. Dance, my sweet Kelly, dance. When the morning comes, we'll dance once again. When the sun shines in, we'll twirl and spin. When the night arrives, we'll dance entwined. When the moon does shine, I'll be yours and you mine. I love you so. This you must know. I love you more, the further we go. I will love you forever, in storm and fair weather. Dance, my sweet Kelly, dance. Twirl, twirl, my sweet Kelly, twirl. Twirl, twirl, I'll take you for a whirl. In your arms tonight, you make me feel right. Twirl, my sweet Kelly, twirl. Twirl, my sweet Kelly, twirl. Twirl, my sweet Kelly, twirl.

Desolate City Words and Music by Robert Martin Teetsov Is there anybody out there feels the way that I do? My soul is tied in a knot as I wander 'round this broken down town, searching for you. Is there anybody out there feels the way that I do? My soul is tied in a knot and I stumble 'round this broken down town, waiting for you. I simply... I simply... I simply want to be in a loving woman's arms. I simply want to be in a loving woman's arms. I want to nuzzle there in your arms. I need you to hold me and whisper to me and smile at me, and wipe away my tears when I think I'm dreaming. It's been so long. It's been so long. It has been so long. I know you're out there somewhere. I know you're out there somewhere. Maybe even in this desolate city. Searching for me in this desolate city. Writing my name on this desolate city. Is there anybody... Is there anybody out there feels the way that I do? My soul is tied in a knot as I wander 'round this broken down town, searching for you. Is there anybody out there feels the way that I do? My soul is tied in a knot and I stumble 'round this broken down town, waiting for you. I'm making my way through this desolate city. I'm searching for you in this desolate city. I'm writing your name on this desolate city.

Hard Blowing Wind Words and Music by Robert Martin Teetsov In this silent hour when dawn turns to day, I reach out my arms to the sun's warming rays. It's been a long night where the cold seeped in at every seam of my soul. Cryin' out didn't help at all in my lonesome fight. Cryin' out didn't help at all in my lonesome fight, in my lonesome fight, in my lonesome fight. When there's a hard blowing wind, when there's a hard blowing wind, when there's a hard blowing wind, you stand strong. You stand strong. Oh yah. I woke up in the morning and saw you next to me, your long brown hair 'round your sleepy head us spoonin' your body pressed to me. Now I long for those days. I long for your kiss, to have you here beside me and to rub your back. To feel the summer rain with you to see the lightning flash to hear the thunder roll to have a different revelation to replace the old, to replace the old, to replace the old. When there's a hard blowing wind, when there's a hard blowing wind, when there's a hard blowing wind, I'll hold you tight, all through the night, 'til the morning light shines bright. Do-do-do-do, do-do-do-do, do-do-do-do, do-do-do-do, do-do-do-do, do-do-do-do, do-do-do-do, do-do-do-do, do-do-do-do, do-do-do-do, do-do-do-do, do-do-do-do, do-do-do-do, do-do-do-do.

The Leaves Are Falling Words and Music by Robert Martin Teetsov The leaves are falling. Summer is passing again. My tears are falling. I pray someone will hear them fall. My only hope is that it's you. My heart is calling. Are you passing me by? I think I'm falling. I pray someone will catch my fall. My only hope is that it's you. The rain is falling. Winter is stretching out long. I won't be falling. I have told myself to be strong, but I'd be stronger with you. I hear love calling. Don't let love pass us by. The spring is coming, so let's let this love bird fly. My greatest hope is to love you. I hope you'll love me too. I hope you'll love me too. I hope you'll love me too.
8.
A Little Love Words and Music by Robert Martin Teetsov A little love is all I ask of you. A little love to see me through. A little love is all I ask of you. A little love to see me through. A little tenderness would do me good. A little tenderness would heal my wounds. A little tenderness would do me well. A little tenderness would break this spell. How I'd love to hold you now, if you'd care to see that this love in me is true. If you'd give me a chance, then my heart would dance to the music in you. A little love is all I need. A little love would save me please. A little love is really all I want. I know it's a lot to ask but I beg you please. A little love come find me here. Oh little love I'm so, so near. Oh little love can't you see me now? Oh little love you're so, so dear. Will you spend all your life in the search for Mr. Right when Mr. Right is right here? I feel like I'm in the fog where you walk me like a dog, but you must know that I'm not man's best friend. A little love is all I need. A little love oh baby please. A little love would do me right. A little love through this cold night. A little love would set me free. A little love oh baby please. A little love can't you share with me? A little love I'll share with thee.

Leini By The Sea Words and Music by Robert Martin Teetsov He took his little daughter's hand as they climbed the hill by the sea. He said, "Leini, let's go this way, dear." And her mother was on her other side, her hand she held. Leini remembers that day. They brought me over here after nights in cellars when bombs made craters where families once lived. They brought me here in their hearts. I wasn't yet conceived, but they loved me even then. They loved me even then, some 50 years ago, but they could never know what I suffer now in this land over the sea. Leini by the sea. Leini by the sea. Her father sailed upon those Baltic waves. And Leini saw him there, as he waved to her from behind that billowing sail, his wavy, black hair lifted on the wind. Her father died upon those Russian fields. He thought of Leini then, as he braved the steely gale of that man-made hell, his wavy, black hair torn on the fiery wind. He took his little daughter's hand as they climbed the hill by the sea. He said, "Leini, let's go this way, dear." And her mother was on her other side, her hand she held. Leini remembers that day.

Too Much Hate Words and Music by Robert Martin Teetsov There's too much carnage in this world, too many skewed beliefs, too many professors of hate, who twist God's Word to their taste for blood. There's too much hate in this world, too many people who kill their fellow man in the name of God, or the name of a man. Meanwhile, we go on as if hate don't exist, as if war were so far away. We wait 'til it's knockin' at our door, but then it's too late. So do something now. It's not the soldiers who are going to save you. It's only a helping hand that saves, that'll save you and me. There's too much loneliness in this world, too many wasted hearts, too many confessors of lost hope, who wander the crowded streets in the dark, looking for a little love and a hand to hold, waiting for the light of a dawning day yet to come. Meanwhile, we go on as if love don't exist, as if peace were so far away, well it's knockin' at our door. We better open before it's too late. So do something now. It's not the soldiers who are going to save you. It's only a helping hand that saves, that'll save you and me.

Electric Line Words and Music by Robert Martin Teetsov I imagine you in the sea my love wading there to your knees. I imagine your wet hair your blond hair brown circle your shoulders bare. I imagine how fair they are your shoulders bare my love. The waves delight at your knees as they caress you. The waves delight at your knees as they caress you. I imagine you in the sea walking among the waves. They keep you company. The sun sets as the twilight warms you there, as the short summer night begins my love. Where will you stay? Where will you stay? Where will you stay  these days, in that distant city of yours? Only this electric line connects us, messages we exchange. Where will you stay  these days, when I'm dreaming of you my love? The waves delight at your knees as they caress you. The waves delight at your knees as they caress you. I imagine you in the sea walking among the waves. They keep you company. The sun sets as the twilight warms you there, as the short summer night begins to fade my love.

Don't Give Up Words and Music by Robert Martin Teetsov Don't give up when times are tough and you think you've lost your best self who you used to be when you were free. Don't give up. Don't give in when times are thin and you think love's nowhere to be found. You will find love one day I hope and pray. Don't give in. Yes I know not everyone's an object of desire but I know my voice will reach the sky. When the objects of desire fall to dust my voice will still be rising higher and higher. 'Cause I won't give in to this maddening din that chokes the world with indifference and spite. I will not surrender to it. I'll keep my song alive. I won't give in. Oh please, my friend, don't give in. No, no, don't give in.
